    Hello.

There's a newer firmware for yout burner, TU02, available.

    http://www.toshiba.de/speichermedien/products/Drivers/SD-R5472C_EFTU02_WIN.zip

It appears you're writing a multisession disk. Is that what you intended?

Your other drives aren't showing up in the Nero log. What type of controller are you using, IDE/SATA/RAID?

You're probably burning too fast at 12X, especially with an external burner. Try 4X.

It seems to be a communication problem. Whether the problem is occurring on the USB bus or whatever internal bus you're using reamins to be determined. You might want to try another USB cable and port if one is handy.

Try outputting an image file from your authoring software and then burn that image file with ImgBurn (free).

    http://www.imgburn.com

Let us know how you make out.

Looks like your log is for XP, do you have a new one?

Maybe you should go the the 7.7.5.1 version, it had some bug fixes for Vista.

There may be other reasons why you show Windows XP 5.1, like perhaps you upgraded from XP to Vista, or the newer Nero picked up on the Vista number. I suppose we will find out as more logs start to show up.

This is the 2nd log I have seen, using Vista where DMA has not been shown...as in a normal Windows history log.

    Taken from normal Windows log

I have no experience with kvcd, but if Nero will make an image file, imgburn will likely burn it. Maybe someone else knows for sure
