I havent been able to figure out why my cpu will not burn discs through dvd shrink or nero, can someone please review and help me figure out the problem? Also, i am using Vista Home Basic. Hi there, Pls click this link to enable your DMA back on either it's not recognising your dvd or the disc is not empty. it is often said on here that 'verbatim' is a good brand.
why isn't your Recorder: <Optiarc DVD RW AD-7170A> Version: 1.02 - HA 1 TA 0 - 7.9.6.0 show in the Scsi-Device-Map? could this be a Vista thing? your burner should be listed in this area of the log! and it doesn't even show up! maybe you should uninstall and then reboot to let windows reinstall it!? shut down some un needed programs running in the background and free up some memory! no multitasking or internet use while burning.
