I am really new to this and I have no idea what I am talking about so bear with me. I used Nero 7 fine burnt probably 70 movies then I went to burn another one and got a burn error after 18 minutes of transcoding. Thought ok this is weird tried it with another movie same thing. Read this forum uninstalled Roxio unistalled Nero and reinstalled nero only. Tried to burn a movie and got an error but this time after 26 minutes of transcoding. Thank you so much for that I took it out. Like I said new at this didnt realize it put the serial number in. I looked at it an it was all just greek to me. So I have run the CCleaner and downloaded 7.5 something something. I will give it a try. Thanks again. Ok edit I tried to burn a movie again and I got this 2 times the instruction at 0x0052f224 referenced memory at 0x00000004 the memory could not be read
Download ConvertXtoDVD from the link I provided in my prior post and see if it'll convert your file. If it does, you'll know the file is OK and Nero is just messed up. If not, the file may be corrupt.
Ok thanks so much I did convert teh file and there was no errors so I am assuming that I need a new burning program because I have tried 3 different versions of Nero.
NeroVision just hasn't totally mastered the art of conversion. If you do a lot of this, ConvertX is probably a good investment. Honestly, for about the same price of ConvertX, one can purchase a dvd player that plays divx/avi files.
