The latest version of Nero is 7.2.0.3 try dl that and see if it works. After much searching on the errors you are getting all I could find that this is usually seen with USB drives and could be anything from a bad enclosure to a conflict with virtual drives. Since you say you have burned with this burner on another computer then the burner does work. There must be something that is different between the computers. Can you post a log from the computer that works?

There is something strange about the logs, they keep changing. Something is connected to this computer that is causing a conflict.

    First, second and third logs

    fourth log

    Fifth log

We have scsi and ide also the cdrom has changed. Tis puzzling to me.

Glad I'm not the only one this one's puzzling :0)
The scsi/ide changes look like they're happening when the virtual drives are installed then uninstalled. With virtual drives scsi then w/o them ide. Make any sense?

The only thing I found in regard to USB and scsi involved virtual drive, but it was in french and even though I did a translation it was still hard to tell what they were talking about. I did manage to make out engraving meant burning, lol.

    LOL - just puzzling ;)
It's kinda hard sometimes to trouble shot on the net. Can't be there to see everthing going on, what's & how it's installed, pc specs, software etc.
Your don't speak french do you :)

How about anything else connecting externally w/ this pc? Was there ever?

If nothing or no than yep the log from the other pc may help as arniebear suggested.

Anything else connecting externally? Well, I have lots of USB Devices...

    2. Smart Joy PS2 Controller to USB Adapter (Newer, like 3 weeks ago new)
    3. Microsoft Sidewinder 2 Joystick
    4. Linksys Wireless Network Adapter
    5. PSP
    6. External HDD (was my friend's. First used it a month or so ago, so no problems)
    7. New crappy printer (I think it was lexmar. newer, 2 weeks or so)
    8. Memory Card Reader (SD, MS, Etc. I also have a built in one of these)

I just ran InCD Cleaner. That MAY do it. I've had...dificulties with it in the past. just need to reboot.

I did not notice in your log that InCD was even installed, if you had it that could cause problems with scsi.

well, I dunno what happened to it. I had uninstalled it..."manually" (I chose the folder and hit delete >.>) and got "The InCD ASPI (or some anachronym) could not be loaded" as an error message for awhile...then it went away.

Haven't rebooted yet, trying to kill adware that popped up yesterday.

    @asunanegi
    Eck - adware.
InCD should have been listed in the add/remove programs - you'd uninstall it from there.
A good registry cleaner may be a good idea for you also.
Unrelated to burning but if your not already switch to Firefox. Most of your adware/spyware problems will go away.

I know. Firefox is the best ^_^ The popups pop up randomly in IE though... anyway, after I'm done doing what the people at geeks to go tell me to, I'll look into the DVD problem. Gotta have my priorities, you know ;)
