    What are you on about?

    Your question makes no sense...

I think by this you mean your DVD-RW drive is not being recognized.

I have the same problem with nero. Ahead sell a DVD plugin through their website, maybe you need this before it will let you burn other than CD-r. If it is then what a scam. The software came bundled with my DVD writer so I don't think it could be a compatibility issue? (Im running v5.5.9.14 bundled)

I'm still using Nero 5.5.9.9. and having no problems.
If you have a serial code for Nero (which you should with an original Nero on disc) then you should be able to update for free.As far as I know.
Some people have mentioned that after updating to 5.5.10.20 or whatever we're upto now that they have no problems anymore ...at all

I've got a TEAC DV-W50E. Got hold of the DVD plugin for Nero Vision and that lets me burn DVD's with Nero Vision, but I still can't get Nero to see my DVD drive.

If your running more than one recordable device...then on the Nero taskbar hit 'CHOOSE RECORDER'.
Select your DVD-RW drive and off you go.

    P.S. Jonnee Boy

I think there's a firmware flash that'd make your drive appear as Pioneer a05 (if I remember rightly)
I don't know if that is of any interest...
    If so check out http://forum.firmware-flash.com/
