Hello everyone, My name is John and I am new to this group as well as the form. I have read some postings from different people about quailty "MEDIA". Since i am a newbie and know nothing my first 100 Blank Dvd DR+ 16X MEMORIX. I am sure after people read this posting there be thrilled about hearing that "MEMORIX" was my choice. Anyway i guess that is what you get from a newbie and the learning process. I have installed a program on my computer NERO CD-DVD SPEED i am posting my first logg with it. the problem i am having is i have no idea what to look for if anyone uses this program and can explain it to me that be real nice thanks John Bryson DISC QUAILTY – STATISTICS DRIVE SONY DVD DRU-810A FIRMWARE 2.0d DISK DVD+R (CMC MAG M01) SELECTED SPEED 4X PI ERRORS MAXIMUM 28 AVERAGE 5.13 TOTAL 22905 PI FAILURES MAXIMUM 0 AVERAGE 0.00 TOTAL 0 P O FAILURES JITTERS MAXIMUM 11.6 % AVERAGE 9,88% SCANNING STATISTICA ELAPSED TIME 48.59 NUMBER OF SAMPLES 4470 AVERAGE SCANNING INTERVAL 8.00 ECC GLITCHES REMOVED 0 (THIS TEST WAS MADE WITH MEMOREX 16X DVD +R DISC ) SPEED WAS 4X Now that the scan was complete can anyone also tell me how to read that chart and what i should be concerened with. I would also like to know how did that memorix dvd do
Memorix that must be a clone of memorex.lol Wouldn't use either of them. Try ty or verb. Good stuff man.
If I'm not mistaken (I've only used Nero once or twice, and just as seldom the disc quality scan), but I think the number of errors in the PI is too high. I cannot state anything concretely but you can check out this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/262544 You'll find a bunch of posts concerning the same subject (in addition to screen captures). Oh yeah, for future references, just stick to TY or Verbs
