I have had the HP DVD 630 DVD writer for 6/7 months and have been able to use Memorex cd-rs to burn cds with Nero Express (latest version with most recent updates). Lately, when I try to make a copy from a copy the drive spits the disc out indidicating that it doesn't recognize the disc. I have tried other discs including Maxells made in Japan with the same result. I have no problems burning discs from songs stored on my harddrive and I can use RecordNow to burn a copy of a copy but it's slower. I thought there might be a conflict with the two burning softwares but I had previously uninstalled the RecordNow and put it back on only after not being able to use Nero to make exact copies. Any suggestions?
scf_au Thanks for the advice. I went into programs and under Nero OEM I dragged Nero Express to my desktop. I was prompted to replace the other version that was already on the desktop. That version was dated for March 2005. After I replaced it I was able to burn exact copies again. Thanks again. Man, I love this site!!!
