Nero 7.2.3.2b, So that I could comment on 7.2.3.2b, I tried it to burn 3 AVI flies which I had successfully burned using version 7.0.8.2, sadly each burn was unsatisfactory so I reverted to 7.0.8.2, tried them again with success…my conclusion..7.2.3.2b was a failure when it comes to burn AVI files. I did the following, uninstalled 7.2.3.2b, ran this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then installed 7.0.8.2 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845 DMA needs to be on, heres a guide to turn on http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Update firmware from here http://www.liteonit.com/DOWNLOADS/ODD/SOHW-1673S/firmware/DR16JS0D.zip Slow to 4X Not great quality discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in japan)

Looks like the latest is JS0D: http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Firmware/SingleModel.aspx?DriveId=1050 I notice you do not have DMA enabled.
