i have a sony dru-530a dvd recorder. burning dvds in my recordnow! works;no problem at all. but then,i got this error message when i tried burning a dvd+R with nero burning ROM. Invalid Field in command SONY Dru-530A \ H1 T0 Invalid Track info i have no idea what the first two lines are, but im guessing from line three, that i have to update firmware. tell me if im wrong here. currently, i have 1.0d. so i went to the firmware page http://www.firmware.fr.st/ and checked my drive, http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1719 and there were these newer firmware: 2.0a, 2.0c, 2.1a, 2.1b, 2.1c, 2.1g. but since im a newbie at this, i have no idea about firmware and what the risks are. wouldn't installing a wrong one corrupt my drive? if so, please tell me which one i should install. i don't really care about the upgrade to burning dvd-R at 8x, since i use dvd+R and i don't have any dvd-R, but should i install all of the above, or would only installing 2.1g be enough?
