    Hi Jerzee1
What exactly are you trying to burn? Like a movie, data etc.

Which version of Nero 6 are you using? You can find that in SmartStart - open that and in the bottom right hand corner they'll be an icon with a flame in it. Click on that - product center - you're version is listed there.

Ah okay it's probably an avi file.

If your dvd player(s) supports divx/avi (some do) then you can just burn it as a data dvd.

If not you'll need to convert it with Nero VisionExpress in Nero 6 to play it on a dvd player.
See if it's listed under applications in SmartStart - some oem come with it.

Yeah that sounds like the player doesn't support that format.

Did you check and see if Nero VisionExpress was listed under applications in SmartStart?

You'll need to use a program to convert this avi to dvd compliant then.

If you don't have it here's some you can try:
    ConvertXtoDVD (trial leave a watermark)
WinAVI (not sure if the trial leaves a watermark)
I don't think these trials will also burn the files. So you can use Express then and use the dvd-video option.

Then here's a free one - decent but takes longer then the above.
    Avi2DVD.
And here's a link for decrypter which it uses to burn in the guide: link
