While attempting to burn the Great Escape with NERO, it locked up during the burn process and i was forced to abandon the attempt, however since then my DVD drive doesn't seem to be functioning correctly, when i put in a DVD or a blank DVD-R, it says no disc in drive, even windows media player can't play a DVD. I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions? i downloaded the lasted drivers off HP's site so i know that isnt it. My writer is the HP DVD400i, if thats any help. Any advice would be much appreciated. ive just had a look at your burner in the net , it says its a +r burner so it wont recognize any -r discs you put in . get yourself some +r discs and see how you go . as for windows media plyer not playing a dvd , im not quite sure it can , what i recomend is getting power dvd that will play your dvds no problem . hope that helped )
