From http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/Nero_ImageDrive.html "Nero ImageDrive – Virtual Drive Setup Nero ImageDrive sets up a virtual drive that looks and behaves like an actual drive. The drive allows you to open and view files and programs. Main features * Support for CD and DVD ROM drive emulation * Supports up to two image drives simultaneously * Mount image after boot of PC * Seamless integration into Windows Explorer * Ultra-fast drive emulation * Supports *.nrg and *.iso file format" Personally I use MagicISO and MagicDisc, which do a much better job, including mounting of discs without a reboot being needed. Thank you for your quick reply. I have a image file which i downloaded t recommends i open it using image drive. When i do this it tells me to insert a cd to burn it. Can i not burn a dvd. The file size is 659mb.
If it is a CD image, it needs to be burned to a CD. I was informed there is some software that will allow burning to a DVD, but I don't remember what it was.
Jack Please confirm that it is a ISO CDROM image file? If so, you could try using winrar in order to extract the contents from the ISO image directly to your hard disk, after which you may not even have any need to burn it to CDROM or DVD. If you really still wish to burn the contents to DVD then you could just use Nero Burning ROM to burn the extracted contents to a DVD...
I don't quite follow you. Is it (1) an MVS o/s related file? or (2) a ISO CDROM image containing an MVS o/s related filed? or (3) an MVS image file? (if there is such a thing).
Back to your original question, I think! You have to set up the NeroImage Drive under tools-NeroImage Drive. It creates one (or two) virtual drives. You can use those drives to mount an image. Open NeroImage Drive and go to the second tab and select which image you want to mount. It will show loaded when ready. You can now access that image just as if you had put a disc in a CD drive.
