It seems your transfer mode has slipped to PIO mode, you need to set it back to DMA mode. Here's a guide which will help you.

thank you TY4ever, seems like no burn process fail.
But now the burning was slow and it hang at 7%.
I burning the dvd at 8x speed, so should i burn at 16x?

Try update your burner's firmware,it might help. And also i've noticed you're using CMC Mag media, that's really bad media,it might work well for a time and doesn't later.Use better media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media, you can have them at 16X,but it's advisable to burn them at half their rated speed,i.e,8X.I suspect highly that the media you're using is the real culprit.

And it fail before it started to burn.

It seems that my physical memory is not enough, that is strange since my hard disk have 1GB of space. And what is power calibration error?
Can you give some advice on how to solve this? thanks!

Physical memory has nothing to do with the space left in your hard disk,it's completely different thing.Physical memory, the more you have, the better your applications will run smoothly.Any program,os,anti-virus use memory. You definitely lack enough memory. For smoother burning i would suggest you to have at least 512mb,that's the strict minimum, and on that you have to close all unnecessary running programs while you're burning and not to multi-task while doing so,let the burn run alone.

For you to get a better idea about the things using your physical memory,go to windows task manager, processes and you'll find out.To know if you need to upgrade your memory ram, which in your case you surely need to do so,you can go in the performance tab in the windows task manager, check the figure for commit charge-peak,if it's more than or almost reaching the figure stated in physical memory-total,then you have to add some more memory, otherwise if it's less then you can let it go.

You'll notice that as soon as you add some more ram, things will go better for you(burning will go smoothly and performance will ameliorate).I have 1gb of memory, that's normally enough for me to burn, running my usual applications but i'm looking forward to make it to 2gb,having a little more memory under the hood is never too much.

I just bought the Verbatim dvd disc and the burning of the dvd disc was a success.
But now i have another problem.
I had burn some .mkv files as data disc.
When i try to play those files, it give me a blue screen says that error reading dvd.
I burn 4183mb of data only, did not exceed the storage space of a dvd.
The burner can read the disc but cannot play the files??
Is it i must change the dvd drives back to PIO mode then can play the .mkv files?

Are you trying to play the dvd containing these mkv files on your pc or on your standalone dvd player?Because it will only play on your pc and not on the another one.If you want them to play on your dvd player then you first need to convert these files into dvd video format.

When you put the dvd in your drive, does it auto-play or does a window open asking you to choose a program to play these files?

That's really very strange. And you said these same files if on your hard disk play perfectly? On what speed did you burn?

burn at 8x speed, is the DMA on the dvd drives affecting the playing?

No,never DMA ON will cause playing promlems, but it does help burning greatly. You can see in other threads, where members always advise people to make sure the DMA for their drive is ON.DMA should always be on,sometimes it slipped to PIO mode when there's consecutive failed burns.
