    Hey guys.

I have gone back to nero v6.6.0.3 and the NVE pack that accompanied it until Craig and his boys at Nero fix the new pack.

I had this problem with Nero Express last time, but the update fixed it. Since I am back to it, I guess I need help figuring it out.

The problem is this. In nero smartstart, I click copy DVD to DVD.

Express opens, blah blah, but when I click "Burn," I always get this message "Cannot be copied"

    The disc is NOT copyrighted....

I will post the log, and any help will be apppriecated.

    Thanks,

    Joel

First edit your nero key off your post it starts with 1a23.

Have you tried using dvd decrypter to put the movie on the hard drive first, then use nero to burn. Or use decrypter to burn.

    Peace

Thanks for the Nero key info.

    Didn't know that...

The current Nero pack that has the bugs, I do not have this problem with.

    So What Gives?

Recode works fine. It is not a problem with that.

Just when I try "copy DVD to DVD" With Express.

    Any ideas?

I do not use Nero at all, however just browsing over your log, something 'jumped' out.

As I say I don't use Nero but, this information suggests that it cannot detect the media type, and cannot read any data on the disc.
Therefore it may well have something to do with your firmware on your reader.

It maywell be that the disc has not been finalised also.

If you could try a simple 'copy and paste' to your hard drive in windows and see if it transfers across, then burn back with Nero.
