I just un-installed NMP through the Windows uninstall box. Now, when I try to open an audio file, it says that it can't find NMP, and then gives me a dialog box to locate it. How do I get rid of this?

Go to a audio file, right click on it, "open with", "choose", pick the player you wish to use, check "Always use this..".

Also, many players have options to capture file assosiations in their option menus. WinAmp for example.

I've already fixed the problem with the file associations; I was wondering if Nero was still in the system. As far as I can tell, it (Nero) isn't in the system anymore.
