I have a Canon 5D Mark ll Camera that has a video option. After I take a bunch of videos with my 5D I would download to my hard drive as .MOV files. To view these files on my PC, I would have to open each file individually with either Quick Time or Power DVD 9. I have the latest version of Nero and what I'm trying to do is put all the .MOV files together so I can burn the to a DVD to be shown on a stand alone DVD player as one continuous file. My question: Any suggestions or are there any "How To" available to accomplish what I'm trying to do? Thank you
I think if you have Quicktime installed, Nero will load the files. Then you merge them into one as in this similar post. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/776904#4703426
Just to let you guys know with the infomation you both provided for me I succeeded in doing what I wanted to do. Thanks again Andrew
MysticE, I'm actually using Nero Vision which I found very easy to use. As for Quicktime & Nero, I'm not that sure if they work together. First of all you need QuickTime 7 Pro which I downloaded. You can open a single file in QuickTime 7 Pro and then you can drag the remainder of your .MOV files into the QT window that you just opened up which will give you a continuous flow of all the .MOV files. The problem with me anyway I couldn't find a way to burn them to a DVD. I'm sure there is a way but I don't know if it could be done with Nero. If you do find a way to burn them with Nero please let me know. As of now I'm pretty happy with Nero Vision. Andrew
