I have never had a problem with nero until recently. Whenever I go to burn a basic music cd, nero asks me to "save image file" as an *.nrg. I proceed, but then nothing burns onto my cd. Any enlightening advice?

If you are not using the Wizard:
    1. Open up Nero, select Data CD
    2. Select a stupid small random file
    3. Click on the Burn Icon
    4. Click On "Wizard"
    5. Uncheck the "Create Image" box
    6. Cancel everything

If you are using the Wizard
    - On the last step, just before you burn, uncheck the "Create Image" box

You should be at a screen with a picture of the Disc dude holding a blowtorch or something like that.... There will be three options:
    1. Test (No actual burning)
    2. Test and Burn
    3. Burn
To the right of those three options there will be a little checkbox that says "Create Image". Disable that.

I got it to work. I had to go to the menu "Recorder" then I choose "choose recorder" and changed from the "image recorder" to my computer's buring-rom. I saw the "create image" button to uncheck after that. thank you for your help.
