Hopefully someone here can help, I get very poor image quality using Nero Showtime. When I play a DVD the picture is very grainy and it seems to be zoomed in but I dont have the digital zoom enabled. It also does this when trying to view my AVCHD files from my Camcorder.I tried a few different settings but nothing seems to help.

My system is MCE 2005 on an ASUS M2NPV-VM, AMD X2 4600 I use the onboard video which is a DVI connection, connected to my 50" JVC HDTV.

I dont have any problems viewing video using any other program like MCE or Quick time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated I would like to view my homemovies.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dave C

Use VLC Media Player or Media Player Classic. They can play just about any format and they are both free.

I will try both , but do you know if they will play AVCHD ie H264? Also I discovered that when I play videos in Media Player it does the same thing. For some reason MCE pays just fine.
