I used to be able to burn dvds fast and easy, but I joined audible and had to upgrade nero to version 7. I used the trial version until it expired and then bought version 8. Now I am trying to burn a dvd and nothing works. thanks - seems the good & easy things never last I'll give it a go at 4x with express and see what happens (Edit: if i can find where they hid the speed options... argh)
okay - found the speed options (can't use express, have to use the burning rom for that) set it for 4x and after several tries to get it to even see that a disc was in the drive (kept spitting out the blank or just not recognizing it) it failed to burn at 4x. There was a message saying that the server was busy due to another application? What is the media code for the blank media you are using? Info tool 1 or Info tool 2 I hope it is good media since you are burning close to the edge. You might want to reduce the size.
