Nero start smart

    I'm not sure where to post this. i just bought a HP dvd 840. It comes with nero 6. first try that the writing on the disc is so faint yu can't read it. what have i dne wrong.

    What are you talking about? You mean lightscribe discs? Or do you mean the actual burn on the purple side. You don't need to see anything on the burn side. Did you actually burn a DVD? Does it play? If you are going to ask for help here give us some information about your particular problem! :)

    Sorry this old man does not explain well. i burn label on light scribe disc. label is very faint.

    Lightscribe technology is not very good. I have it and do not use it. There is an add-on of some kind that I believe you can get from hp.Use a B&W pic or change a color pix to B&W. The contrast on the label will be better. The best lightscribes take upwards of 30min.
