   I'm trying to create SVCD's using Nero
   
   I've taken divX movies and split them into 2 parts (wont fit on one svcd) i then use nero to create 2 svcds, the first one never works in my standalone dvd player but the second always does.
   
   Can anyone help me on this?

   Please don't use Nero to convert your clips, I beg you. Nero's quality is simply horrible when you use it as an encoder. Use TMPGEnc instead -- read our DivX to VCD guide and adjust the guide to use SVCD template instead.
