Why won't menus and chapter selection work when adding files or other dvd from others compilations?? Eg.I've added vob files that have included menus taht I want to use, but when I go to preview the video, Nero won't let me chapter select and I'm forced to make my own menu and chapter selection. I know I can use other programs like 1Click DVD to make a direct copy, but I want to encode into DD5.1. Cheers Primo.
A Vob file does not Contain any Chapters, all of the Chapter information is Stored in the IFO file so a VOB file doesn"t have any Chapters without the IFO file... So what this Means is when you Load Just the Vob file into a Program it will not have any Navigation Perameters like Chapters and they will have to be added manually..... Cheers
But when I load the IFO files with the VOB files, the chapter selection and menus don't work. They show up on screen but you can't do anything with it, and I have to create a new menu and chapter selection. Is NERO supposed to do this? Thanks Primo.
