    That's a helluva project there 2Shay
Is this the only type of project that Nero fails on - adding all the different file formats and many chapters?
Try breaking down the project to 2 discs with less chapters - my guess is that Nero may not be able handle all this in one project.

Well I'll be darned... u may have just hit the jackpot. I tried creating a new music video with just 35 videos instead of my normal 90 and walla, it works.....

Wow I'm like a kid in a candy store... been frustrated with this for sum time now.

Wanted to say THANK YOU for spending your free time to help me out, it is greatly appreciated :=)

Maybe something like "Created DVDs in Nero vision with more than 50+ videos may cause the program to freeze, to solve this issue reduce your DVD video size by splitting it in half" This was the magical faq for me...

Okay been playing around with this new info and this is what I can come up with...

I had a saved project with 90 music videos, going in to reduce the project itself took me 10+ tried of opening up the project, then the program would freeze while I was trying to scroll through the list to make the reduction. Reduced the project from 90 to 55, and the program still freezes like before.... reduce to 45 and still freezes, reduce to 35 videos and there seems to be the magical number.

Nero Vision can only support up to 35 videos per DVD session. It's not about what the disk can hold because a DL disk can easily hold a 100+ videos but even on my ultra high end (I have a $7k XPS710 Desktop) computer Nero can not handle over 35 videos for whatever inherent design reason.

I too am having a similar problem (I think). After about 1 hour of transcoding (of burn at once) the program just shuts down with only 8 minutes remaining. I've reduced the project amount (which worked), but i am really trying to fit the whole 2.3GB onto my DVD. I've tried writing to the HD and disc image but it seems to crash at the same point each attempt.

    Hi nnpiper
    Welcome to aD
What version of Nero are you using - like 7.10.1.0? If not using the latest update to the latest.
Try closing all unneeded programs when using Vision - it's pretty resource intense.

If you haven't recently do a disc cleanup and disc defrag.

    Hi

It seems my problem was different, I clean up nero and reinstall fully and now the project can be generated.

I did the previous update by using nero integrated update system... but this has somehow messed up the application.

    bye
