I just bought a Sony DVD RW 830A burner. I used DVD Shrink and successfully copied a DVD to my HD. One more thing I tried with a little more success (made it to 50 percents).....I plugged the USB connector directly into my laptop vs running it through a multi-USB adapter. I also changed the write spead to 8x. I got the same error, but I saw this in the resulting log..... You have Roxio software and this conflicts with Nero. Run the Roxio Zap to clean it off. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml CMC MAG are poor quality media. Recommended medias are Taiyo Yuden and Verbatims.
