I've purchased and used both Nero 6 and Nero 7 but everytime I try to transcode and burn to DVD any kind of video files with Nerovision I get discs that stick and freeze in various parts of the movies. The funny thing is that I've found out how to repair this isuue, you know how? By backing up with DVD Shrink all the DVDs I created with Nerovision. This means that for every DVD I make with Nerovision I need one more to back up with DVD Shrink so that I can get a decent project. Don't tell me to change media because I've already did with no resaults. Even the best and most expensive media I've used stick and freeze after Nerovision. Sometimes even DVD Shrink can produce a sticky DVD which means that I have to back it up again to get a satisfactory resault. You don't know how much money I've spent in blank media, considering that most of my projects fit only to double layers which are quite expensive. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

Looks like the hard drive has DMA off and I don't see where the DVD burner is listed. If you uninstall the controller and reboot , Windows will redetect it and turn DMA on. My Computer > properties>hardware>device manager >ide controllers then uninstall the Primary and reboot. Running the Nero Info Tool, shows the state of the DMA under 'configuration'.
