    Hi,
I've been using NeroVision Express to Convert NTSC DVD's to PAL DVD's and The one I'm doing at the moment is Music.
My output format is Stereo, even though there's 5.1 sound on the DVD.

Question: How can I get the 5.1 on the Converted DVD instead of the Stereo?

Question 2: Can I have Both stereo and 5.1 on the Pal DVD?

    Thanks,
    M

Method: I use DVDDecryptor to rip the Original NTSC DVD to the Hard Drive, with no Problems.
I then Create a DVD in NeroVision Express with the Main Title.
I use TMPGencDVD to create the MENU's

Have you got the AC3 Nero plugin? (required for 5.1 audio).
The latest package of NVE3 includes it.

Yes, you can have both DD5.1 and Stereo on the dvd, if you author it in something that will accept multiple switched audio tracks, like DVDLab Pro.

I have all the plug-in's now for nero
    DD 5.1
    AC3
    Multichannel Plug-in
    DVD MPEG-2
    etc..

I get no option to select 5.1, only AC3.

I tried converting the DVD again, but only one of the tracks was then available in 5.1

The original DVD is a music video one and the audio is 5.1 and stereo??

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

    thanks
