Problem Network Visibility Issues

    I bought a new laptop/tablet and have issues connecting to my Wifi. Both Android phones in the house, the SmartTV, etc everything can see and connect to the network fine. However, this new Dell Inspiron laptop which has Wireless N on board can't pick up either wireless network. I thought maybe outdated NIC drivers might be to blame, but it's updated(had to USB tether to laptop) and the issue persists.

    Laptop: Dell Inspiron 3185
    Router: Asus 56U w/ Fresh Tomato
