I'm getting BFG-GeForce 8800 GTS OC2 640MB for my e-machine. Power requirements for this card say "425W PCI Express-compliant power supply; one 6-pin PCI Express or two 4-pin Molex power connectors". I'm looking at my power supply and I think it says 300w max. output. Modell # says: Bestec ATX-300-12E REV:DR
Is there any chance this will work for this card? Is there any harm in trying?

Don't post multiple threads for the same question, andyes there's every harm in trying. Don't bother buying an 8800GTS, the rest of the PC won't be powerful enough to make good use of it.
