New #ad_buddies guide

ok, It seems some of our visitors simply dont understand exactly what #ad_buddies is. So let me make it easy for all to understand.

*It is a chat room for afterdawn regulars and visitors.

*It is a place where you can come and ask for help if you are stuck with something PC related, be it a DV issue or otherwise.

*It is run entirely by volunteers.

*Not all member are available 24/7 (Different time zones / countries etc) you may have to wait for a reply to your question just as you do here in the forums. Using the channel as jecta does in the following example does not benefit anyone.

If your going to ask a question, at least stick around long enough for someone to reply.(see point 3 above)

Now for a few basic rules, there are not many. But it appears we need to clarify the following:

*It is not a source of pirate films / music etc. dont come looking for it you will be automatically kicked from the chatroom.

*Abusive / agressive behaviour towards other channel users will not be tolerated. you will be ejected.

*Do not PM channel operators (@'s) unless absolutely nescessary. You will be ejected.

This is a well run and friendly channel that we want everyone to enjoy visiting. Feel free to join whenever you like, but be willing to wait for a reply.

Woah. Big problems connecting. I keep getting redirected to Daedalus.WyldRyde.org including when I use the java chat. Any ideas Taz?
