Ok I'm a big new-b and I want to learn to copy xbox games. I have a DVD-R drive and DVD X COPY PLATINUM. I would like to know what programs I'd need, any mod chips, and cables. Thanks a ton. (oh ya what the heck does "FTP" mean?) Thanks for the help!

    Yeah, Like Darth said...

For a very very basic description of how i backup my games...

    1) Chip xbox,

    2) Install a new bios on the chip

    3) Install a new dashboard (thing you load apps and disks from)

once you have an understanding of what's going on with that then backing up your games will be a doddle. FTP is really handy, you copy files from one computer to another with it, which is useful when installing apps or games to your xbox!
