Yes but there are a lot of things CD burners are shitloads BETTER at doing compared to DVD burners.

My CD-RW drive can burn discs @ 52x whereas the DVD Burner can only burn CDz at 24x... All DVD Burners are like that, they burn CDz at a lower speed.

LOL not just that ... the capabilities of the burners leave something to be desired especially when it comes to dealing with copy protection and error rates. But we'ew getting off topic again...

I like a lot of them ... the main consideration seems to be that they dont have enough external 5.25 bays or that they do and there arent enough frontmounted fan slots. :|

Yeah, i think your requirements, you might not get Praetor...
I have seen heaps of nice looking ones with 6x 5.25 bays but above that, well they start looking like a ... hummm Server... lol
U may just have 2 take the front off, get a drill and start modding.... :)

Well I was kinda hoping for a server case... full towers (like the one i have which has everything i need except for the dual 80mm inputs) dont quite cut it anymore :(

Yea i mean like they start looking like a server.. crappy cases they look Shit (well really a server case basicalyl justs sits there and does nutting really)

But you may have to get 1 and do some mod's to it to get the fan holes and crap like that.

LOL i dont want my case looking like some teenybopper's "leet" computer that their parents bought for them or something you know? (which is why i tend to avoid the ever-so-common Chenming/Antec cases everyone seems to like to show-off :p)

None of them have enough externally accessable 5.25 bays! :( (and they are mostly midtowers if im not mistaken). I do like Chieftek's BX model tho, its a refreshing change from the overused AX601. Hehe apparently aluminum isnt metal... (or isnt metal enough :p)

Looks like im gonna be buying another Prism (damn im getting bored of this case lol)

Here's one with plenty of bays now all you have to do is live with its looks.

    # Features: Enhanced enterprise server single system all-in-one solution.
    # Built-in dual 350W redundant power system.
    # 15 disk drive Bays (5.25" * 12 and 3.5*3), suitable for internal raid system.
    # Dimensions: 9.00"(W) * 25.0"(H) * 25.2"(D); 25.0(W) *65.0(H)*64.0(D)cm.

Lol that looks ok ('sides I intend to grind it down and repaint it ... always wanted to do that anyways). Very nice indeed (and yes it was already suggested)... how many of those 5.25s are external accessable (since I put all my hdds in hdd brackets/coolers anyways).

I like the dual redundant 350w power supplies. Do you think that more might be required for your needs? I'm building a new system too I've been waiting for PCI express. Are you building a server or starting a busines that requires that many 5.25 bays? I'm kind of leaning toward a Lian Li case with 6 5.25 bays, I'll be lucky to fill those. Just curious.
