Much better than the GTS, but on par with the 8800GT, expect of course it has better image quality than both those cards.
It's miles better than the 8800GTS, about the same as an 8800GT.Bear in mind these are 8800s, not the slow-ass 8600 in your original specification. @Abuzar: Don't forget this is in Canadian dollars, so take prices from somewhere like NCIX, not Newegg.
Last I looked at the exchange rate, it was close to being 1:1, so if you are looking at Newegg, or NCIX, it should be about the same. Oh, and I agree. He should build his own computer. If somewhat older folks, like me, can build their own, anyone can.
I think he means that since he cant buy from newgg, I should take Canadian store prices which might be more expensive.
I meant both really, NCIX may be slightly more expensive than Newegg, but I also ment take the price in CAD too. I had no idea the exchange rate had dropped to 0.997. Last time I looked $1 in US was about $1.10 in Canada, I suppose that's another effect of the falling US dollar...
Ok so updates priced from NCIX(I hate their site!): Thermaltake Armor Jr. Case(my full tower case was much more):115 E6750-214 Crucial Ballistic PC-8500 2GB-110 Motherboard-145 HD 3870-240 Corasir VX550-75 Everything else should be about the same. EDIT: Sam don't insult the US dollar. Those Canadians and theri Monopoly money! lol
nothing wrong with our monopoly money!!! canadian dollar is about $1.01 compared to the american dollar so canadian is cheaper by 1 cent.
Haha I was just jokingly referring to the fact that Canadian money is actually worth more than ours these days.
