new dvd player

    Hi two of dvd players have kicked the bucket so im looking to buy a new two new ones so i need to know whats a great player that will play burned dvd+rs thanks alot

    I don't know which is the best and most any will probably play DVD+/-R...Something I would want in a new player is mpeg4/Divx capability.

    straight dvd players.. pacific brand for £17 .. even play +r's and rw's

    avoid the big names.. overpriced and region locked and all kinds of crap.. dirt cheap walmart brand will do nicely.

    hi all...thanks for the suggestion given by you people.. i too had problem with same issue..now i am going to come out of that.

    we buy only phillips players(7) and prefer the cheap model # 3982 because it does great with subtitles of all sorts and most formats except .mkv, ogm., however, my thousands of .avi format disks are all of the -dvd variety. doesn't do good with +dvd disks. 43$ US-walmart
