Almost sure it is still analogue cable. Although Charlesland is serviced by N** MMDS.

What version software have you on your box? I have the 11/11 but cannot flash the TX with the later version. Downloading progress does not move off zero. I've tried all the ways mentioned in here to flash the box but it just wont flash. This box is destined for Offaly but i need to know can I send it down to my cousin with the 11/11 on it. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
When is got the box there was no software on it. I downloaded the software supplied in this thread 23_11_2007(the link is copied in one of the posts at the start of this thread). I guess I was lucky as it downloaded correctly first time. I was even luckier when I connected it up to the TV as the first time I did the automatic scan it picked up all the channels. But it def works in offaly. Got all setanta, sports, movies.....

well if you have chorus mmds in your area..
i.e. mmds with dvb-t standard then the box (TX) will work...

    if so
all the information you need has already been posted in this thread!

if you have a more specific question that's not already been answered just ask and we'll see what we can do.

Clonmel is quite unique with it's cable network as it is basically a hybrid system. Around the country there was a number of different CCs before these were taken over by Ch**us and N**,(now UPC), and each used there own equipment and frequencies.

For example in the Limerick/Clare area, analog equipment used is manufactured by companies such as Jerrold And General Instrument but in Cashel and Clonmel analog equipment was manufactured by Pace. All digital equipment is the same manufactured by sagem but the equipment used in Limerick for MMDS is used on the cabling system in Clonmel. So basically Clonmel has its own unique set up, I am not from there I just know this certain network quite well. So you are on a very strange and unique hybrid system. If you can get your hands on a subbed box you may be able to get some info from the eng menu.

You can see what frequencies etc they are using. Also check the sticker at the underside of the subbed box. ITD means mmds and ICD is cable.

Sorry I have to leave hope this helps more than confuses :)

Can anyone tell me if The Box or Eurovox Tx will work in Donabate. The box from provider is a pace box but does not have any info on back to tell me if it is a dvb-t or dvb-c. I have a mesh dish on roof (mmds)but info from forum says that The Box(SV2) should work. Does anybody have any box working in the area and if so can you tell me what it is or what is the best one for me. A little help is better than none.

IF your on NTL MMDS DD then the ordinary Eurovox 2008 will do you fine, you should get about 92/94 channels.
On a different note can anyone recommend a seller for Eurovox 2008 and the Eurovox Tx's as the guy I normally buy off has gone off the radar.Am based in Dublin if it makes any difference, pm me if needed

    Thanks
