Hey the new feaure where certain keywords are highlighted is excellent however i noticed, it is screwing up another feature which is the ability to post a http link in a post. Basically if a keywork is in some of the links the link might not work, i tried to link to boycott-riaa tonight and it came up as what looked like html code for the anchor tag! I'm sure some other posters noticed as i have seen it about 20 times in the last few days!_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Come Say Hi on IRC!!! Server: irc.emule-project.net channel: #ad_buddies James![/small]
Ok i havent seen a new one yet, some of them seem to appear but then disappear, starnge, next time i see one ill paste it in here with the url!
Thanks. I've tried to avoid such situations in the code, but once you see something like that, do post the URL. Cheers.
Yep saw another one and this time i have the url and a complete copy of the post that it happened on. URL: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/40634#193835 Post: I found a version of TMPGEnc that has only a trial version however, when the trial version is up ONLY the MPEG-2 conversion part is disabled, everything else is still available. I liked this version much better than the previous one I had where everything was disabled after 14 days. I don't remember where to get it though, go to Yahoo and do a search, Try going here: TMPGEnc.net/e_download.html" class=korostus target="_blank">http://www.TMPGEnc.net/e_download.html strange aint it! :S
Sh*t... I'll look into this, although fixing such issue is hellish -- currently the rules are something like this: If the matched word begins with special character (., -()/) and/or ends with one, match it. But in case of www.tmpgenc.net URL, this rule holds true as well, but then again it also is an URL itself.. Ideas?-)
I reckon from looking that it is caused by the fact that TMPGEnc is in the <a> tag and it is highlighted accidently, does kinda make sense really.
aahhhh it shows its ugly face again Thread - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/37910#206727 hmm, maybe getting the forum code to ignore anything in html tags might work?? or am i in a dream world?
