can upgrade the ram to limit & MIGHT be able to upgrade cpu but you'll have to check to see what you are running intel, amd & which cpu as different versions. video might be upgradeable so check user manual for that info.

check your manual for location as different laptops put ram either in the bottom or under the keyboard but usually on the bottom. look at the bottom of laptop to see if there is a square access panel & check there.

There are 2 square accsess panels on the bottom of the laptop. One is longer than the other. The modem is in the long one and there is also a green chip with 4 black chips on top of it sloted in.They say NANYA on them.Is this the RAM?In the smaller panel there is nothing but it looks as though something can be put there.

Ok i ordered the 512MB.I looked in the big panel again and i can see the 256MB RAM that is already in the laptop and there is space for another one. When i get the 512MB will i replace it with the 256MB or put it in the empty slot?It says in the book that my laptop can have up to 1024MB of RAM.
