Hello there. Hope someone can advise me. I have a LG BluRay home theater system, LHB335, as well as an old Sony stereo, HCD-441 (which, sadly, still sounds so much more awesome than the more modern LG system). Question for you wizards...is there any way I can connect my old Sony speakers to this LG system & just add some more freaking sound?? The LG has been such a disappointment. I'm not so adept at these things, but take instruction well! If you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. In advance, thanks if you can help! =)
the speaker impedance will be different so no. i take it your home theatre is an all in one? if so the best route is to save your shekels for a seperate home theatre receiver and buy some decent speakers, including a powered sub.
Eeek. I guess I just need to buy a new home theater system, the LG kind of bites. So, thank you very very much for your help =)
WOW, it actually worked. I got all "fix it!" & I just decided to get all renegade & finally plugged in my old Sony speakers from circa '96....they sound fantastic on the LG home theater system... Sounds amazing! Totally compatible, it's great =)
good deal.didnt think it would work as home theatre speakers are 3ohm resistance and yours are more likely 4 or 8.if they are 8 ohm i wouldnt think the output transistors would handle it long.but hell,if it works, use it till it drops.
