    i have avi files each of 700mb from a friend and he copied it to my computer. now when i want to make a dvd its exceeding the disk limit which is 4.7. i have to reduce the bitrate and sacrifice quality. and its taking long long time.

    Then we shall have to wait. You don't have any other movies that you have burned to DVD or you have never had a successful burn?
