new to xbox and need some help

    hi can someone tell me if i am right and if i have missed any thing out i am new to xbox i just bought a crystal last wednessday and dont know much about them i want to install a new hard drive and modchip is it this simple

    1 buy a modchip and install it
    2 flash it with new bios
    3 take old hard drive out and put in a new one
    4 install slayer 2.6

    Basically, Yea..try to find a solderless mod if your not good at it.
