new virus scan solution

    i hope this is in the right place. i just upgraded my ram to 1.5 gb. norton ccapp.exe is now hogging so much of my ram. i am looking for a new virus scan. i like some parts of norton system works such as the defrag, pc checker and script blocker. i cant use mcafee it never works right on this comp. any other ideas would be helpful. thanks
