Newbie ! How to remux and join MPEG-2 files ?

    I want to convert my DV AVI files to MPEG-2 with CCE Basic. If I chose VBR, CEE forces me to output separate video and audio files. Which [bold]freeware[/bold] tool can I use to remux the video and audio files together ? I'm also looking for a tool to join MPEG-2 files (same audio et video settings for all files).

    Maybe VirtualDubMod ?

    tmpgenc. limited audio source
    virtualdubmod. much more wide source range, vbr audio may cause synch prob.
