guys newbie here pls go easy. i have re-scanned my dbox2 many times as per below settings for northants and am only getting fta channels. am i on the right path here? under my service scan following are the headings i have and the settings i have used but no result after re scan: scan for services...........all services bouquet.........leave existing cable provider.........cableuk sym6887 fast scan.........on manual scan.........off frequency.........579000 symbol rate........6887 FEC..........1/2 polarization............H apologies if i am being dumb in anyway i am very new to this. many thanks in advance and your help is appreciated.
Were you picking up all channels prior to this or is this your first time scanning? Have you flashed the box with the latest firmware? (Just in case - software/loaders etc here: http://www.4shared.com/dir/3042613/f6e3421c/sharing.html )
hi yeah i was picking up all channels before. no i havent flashed the box with latest firmware as i dont know how to but will do as a very last resort as i dont wanna create more problems for myself. thanks
