Trying to play war of the worlds taken off bitcomet w/ divx and wmp. and none work. the sound works but not the video. please help! i spent a lot of time downloading this movie!
It sounds like you don't have the right codec installed, download a program called GSpot and that will tell you the codec that you need. GSpot: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/gspot.cfm
GSpot doesn't install any codecs. If you have DivX installed and the file was compressed with XviD then it should decode fine using the DivX decoder.
