i'm guessing from his question that he doesn't know what nzb's are.

if you don't know what they are... research how the entire usenet process works. nzb's are what make searching the usenet as easy as typing in *file you want to download*.

if you do know what they are... *facepalm*

any actual users that know what they are using use anything else similar to nzbsrus and nzbmatrix? If there is another really good one (that doesn't post all the junk) I'd be interested in learning about it.

    http://www.bintube.com/
    http://www.binsearch.info/

both are free and work great with Grabit. They are a bit less user friendly, but I like them.

sorry for the confusion. i use newzleech, nzbs.org, and binsearch. From what i understand doing a basic search like for a torrent or on google isn't the most efficient way for nzb's. The naming schemes for files is really hard to find what you want. i read somewhere that instead of lets say harry potter and the whaling hyena you search hpatwh. That's worked sometimes but not often. just wanted to know if any experienced Usenetters had any advice. thanks in advance.

Newsleecher has a tab called SuperSearch Service. Easily finds anything you want to look for. Hands down the best I have ever used for newsgroups. Use this in combination with Usenetserver and you can't go wrong.

thats the reason we are talking about nzb's so you dont have to search through a million lines. dont get me wrong, super search is a great service, but not nearly as good as an nzb indexing site.

    qft!

as said in this thread a few times.... check out nzbmatrix and set it up with newsleecher and your usenet group. you'll be amazed at how easy it is once it's set up.

*nzbmatrix is a personal choice. there's a bunch out there and everybody likes their own for their personal reasons.
