I am having trouble transferring VHS to DVD. I discovered I can record my VHS videos through my camcorder into DV format. I can hear the audio in camera and watch the video. (I have a Canon optura 20). I can download DVs through from the camera, through firewire, to my computer and edit into a DVD (using Sonic MyDVD). Problem is, when I capture from the VHS I can't hear any sound in my editing software (but when I video tape my surrounding and capture I can hear the audio just fine). I am so frustrated and completely stuck as to where to go next. I only have one audio input and I've tried it in both the Audio R Out and Audio L Out in my VCR.

Please, I'd love any ideas or suggestions!

Can you play the video that has no audio with VLC for example?
Download MediaInfo and open ne of the videos that have no audio. maybe the audio transfered, but your software cannot decode it.
