I am trying to burn 2 movies that I downloaded. AVI codec says, one has a MPEG 4 video codec and the other has a MPEG 2 SVC/DVD video codec. When I try to burn them with NERO I get (no compatible file found) Could someone tell what I need to do to burn these movies ??? DO i need to run both of them thru TMPGEnc ???

    radbob, welcome to aD,

As Jerry said, you have to convert your AVI files to the proper format. NeroVision can do that for you. Because you're dealing with 2 totally different types of files, they cannot be just "Lumped" together.

Once you AVI's have been rendered you may burn them to DVD.Check to see is whatever you're planning to play them on supports MPEG4. More things will play them today, perhaps nothing needs to be done with them :)

    Cheers,

    Pete
