Hi guys this is my first visit to A/D. I am using Nero 6 with pioneer dual layer burner DVR 109 and when I add file to be burned I always get this response "No compatible file found" I was using Nerovision Express3 and quite happily burning but a change to nero 6 has brought me frustration a plenty.

Prior to changing to nero 6 I was using Nerovision Express3 and I was able to burn AVI movies to DVD. As I indicated I am not real clewy about these things, is there any reason why things would change

I'm not too familiar with Nero Vision, but I believe that converts other formats to DVD. Regular Nero Burning ROM will not.

I have downloaded suggested file convertor and now am trying it out. When I download movies they are in AVI form, question; do I have to download in AVI and then convert or can I somehow convert AVI before downloading

no, you'll have to wait until after it's downloaded before you do anything with it like that.
