no playback on philips 710 standalone

    I have managed to rip a dvd to single dvd-r using dvd decrypter, ifo-edit,ReMpeg & nero.It plays fine on my pc but it wont play on my standalone.Can anyone help.

    Look at the box and documentation supplied with your stand-alone and verify first that it supports dvd-r

    I have played a backup of We Were Soldiers which was fine.The player might be a bit tempremental with media.The dvd I made a backup of was my first attempt,before I burned the disc I played it in ifo-edit,on loading I got the message No Valid DVD Found but when I continued it played alright.Am I missing something in the backup process.
