When I try to open a .avi that I exported from Premiere Pro in TPMGenc, the video is simply not there. The .avi plays fine, GSpot seems to read it fine (as far as I can tell), but for the life of me I can't figure out why in TMPGEnc there is no video, just black (audio is fine). I know Premiere Pro has an encoder built in, but I'm not happy with the quality. Also, I have exported a .avi from Premier Pro and had it open fine in TMPGenc before, but that was months ago. The media was captured from my Sony DV camcorder this time, last time when it worked it was captured analog via my capture card. Thanks for any help you can give me. If I'm lacking information let me know as I'm not exactly sure what to post with my message.
What codec does Gspot report for the audio? It's probably AC3, which is not supported in tmpgenc Plus.
