No volume on DVD

    I have tried to burn a few DVDs that are on my hard drive and everytime the video makes it to the disc but not the sound. I can watch the video with sound on my computer from my hard drive but it will not play audio when the DVD is inserted in the computer. The video is a DVD5 format. I have read a bit about codec but I haven't seen anything about what codec DVD5 needs. Thanks for any suggestions.

    Does the DVD have sound when played on a standalone DVD player.
